Net worth calculator
What this tool tells you
This tool calculates net worth: total assets minus total liabilities. You enter balances in five asset categories and four liability categories and see the result immediately, with a visual comparison of the two sides.

The calculation runs in your browser, and the numbers you enter are not sent anywhere.
How it is calculated
The tool adds up the assets (savings and current account, pension and provident funds, investments, property and other), adds up the liabilities (mortgage, loans, card debt and other debts) and subtracts the second from the first. Nothing is estimated automatically: every number is what you enter.
net worth = total assets − total liabilities
total assets = savings + pension + investments + property + other
total liabilities = mortgage + loans + card debt + other debts
Every value is a current balance in shekels.
Assumptions
- The values you enter are your own up-to-date estimates. The tool does not fetch data from any outside source.
- The numbers shown at the start are examples only, and you can reset them to zero with one click.
- Property value is an estimate, and it is better to keep it conservative.
- According to the tool itself, the numbers stay in your browser and are not sent or stored anywhere.
How to read the result
- The large card is your net worth. If liabilities are larger than assets it appears as a negative number and is flagged accordingly.
- The two bars show the make-up of assets and liabilities, and the ratio between them.
- The number matters less than the trend: check it again every quarter or month and compare with the previous check.
- Remember that money in pension and study funds counts towards net worth but is not immediately accessible, so also look at how much of your assets is liquid.
Limits of this tool
Net worth is one number out of a full picture, and it is only as good as the estimates you enter. The tool does not value assets, and it does not replace checking with the provider or a professional.
This is an illustration based on the numbers you entered, not personal advice or a recommendation. Check current rules and amounts at gov.il or on the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority website.
Frequently asked questions
What is net worth and how is it calculated?
Net worth is everything you own minus everything you owe: total assets minus total liabilities. The tool adds up both sides and subtracts.
Should I include pension and study funds?
Yes. It is worth counting everything, including the pension and study funds and the small debts. You can ask separately how much of your assets is liquid.
Are the numbers I enter saved?
According to the tool itself, the numbers stay in your browser and are not sent or stored anywhere.
How often should I calculate net worth?
A quarterly or monthly check is enough. Checking daily mostly causes stress, and what matters is the trend.
How do I value a home?
It is an estimate and not an exact number, so it is better to enter it conservatively. The mortgage still owed on the home goes on the liabilities side.
